Aquapel, though not really even in the same league, is a competitor to the more widely known Rain-X product, however, unlike Rain-X, it is not a silicone based compound. Aquapel Glass Treatment uses fluorinated compounds which creates a chemical bond with glass surface. This causes water to bead up and roll off the glass.
